Ugh... how could she get herself into this mess?! Aniime and her big, wise-ass mouth. She quickly had to move, and she only had so much ammo left! Damn her luck... oh yeah, luck. Haha. How funny... since she had very little of it... since the damn devil decided to show up. Things were not weighing out in her favor.
She could feel herself shiver as the devil below went on about her blood tasting good... and herself tasting good. Ew. The devil hunter quickly glanced around as she ran across the roof top... she could feel the blood seeping out of her arm wound, but she paid no attention to it. First, was to get away to a safe area, two, find Black Blood, three, get rid of her persuer.
Tsk, tsk... Miss Xiang! Be more creative! Give me a challenge!
"Damn it!" The devil was close. Behind her as a matter of fact. A gun went off, and it caught Aniime off guard; she was expecting a swing from that big ol' blade of the creature. She went to move to the side, but the ground was more slippery than she thought... due to the moistiness of it... from the evening's rain. She slid off, but caught herself before she could fall to her death--the woman grabbed onto the ledge. She glanced down... and boy did she manage to get lucky! A window, and it was pretty close; right infront of her feet actually. She had to act quick though:
Smirking ever so slightly, Aniime drew her left leg back, and kicked inward.
Smash!
The window shattered, and she left go of the ledge she was hanging on; only to grab onto the window's ledge. She pulled herself up, not paying any mind to the cuts and scraps she'd recieve when she pulled herself in. She blinked and gasped, looking at her surroundings. Where was she...? The room was dark and gloomy, and trashed by the looks of it. She was surprised that the window was still in one piece before she came along. Looking over her shoulder, she saw no one, and only heard the wind's howl.
The darkened room made it slightly hard to see, and the woman wished she had a flashlight to flick on.
Crack.
She blinked once or twice, and took a step back, and flashed her brown eyes down toward what she stepped on. It was a picture, and she kneeled down to pick it up. It was caked with dust and dirt, and now the glass was broken. Aniime inhaled, and blew lightly-trying to rid it of the dust. She could slightly a small family of three in it. She didn't have time for this, and threw the thing over her shoulder. Before she could actually advance to do look over something else, something caught her attention. It was a semi-automatic pistol laying around, and it had a 2/3 full clip in it. It held dried blood, but she ignored that fact. Whoever left it here, Aniime thanked mentally. It would come in handy if she needed.
Not even giving the room a second glance, she kicked the door open and ventured out into the hallway of the building. She didn't bother to look through any of the other rooms for anything useful... she didn't have the freakin' time now! She had wasted it in the other room. She ran down the steps, stumbling as she went, and out of the building.
She started down the street in a run, panting as she did so. Her vision blurred some... from bloodloss from the arm wound. She neededa place to hide. What luck... that stupid strip joint. Well, it was better than nothing.
